Kids
Space is a great activity focused hands on museum. Imaginative exhibits
invite kids to interact, while parents can gain tidbits of knowledge on
earthquakes, animals, and insects. In the towering leaf climb inside a
sunny atrium, kids assume the role of ants on their daring ascent.

Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens sits on 113 acres in the heart of
Griffith Park. The zoo presently houses species from every corner of
the globe. Check the zoo web site for a complete list of animals as
well as current and upcoming shows and admision rates. |

La Brea Tar Pits are a unique L.A. sight that's worth checking out
while you're in town. Situated right next to the L.A. County Musuem of
Art, in the heart of the Miracle Mile area, the Tar Pits are made up of
the actual tar pits themselves and wonderful museum (Page Museum) which
highlights the history of the site. Your kids will love he up close
exhibits and hands on activites. |

marine species native to the Pacific Ocean, Aquarium of the Pacific is
a must see when in Long Beach. |
