         Russell and Erin are the parents of two children, Rosie who is 2 ½ and a son Eli who is 1 ½ years old.  We are L.A. Baby Gear Rental and operate the business from our home in the suburbs of Los Angeles.  We are both originally from New York and made the move to the West Coast before our children were born.  We ended up staying and having a family here but left lots of family and friends behind on the East Coast.  So we’ve done a fair amount of traveling across the country.  It’s from these travels that we refined our ideas for LA Baby Gear Rental, deciding that we would like to make a living helping travelers like ourselves better enjoy travels with their babies and toddlers.

“Mrs. King, we will have to charge you an additional $50 to check the pack and play and an additional $25 for each suitcase, unless the baby has his own ticket.”  Those were the words that led us to say, “there must be another, easier, way to travel with little ones!?!” 

 3 Cross Country Trips Later

For our next trip we explored our options and found a handful of companies that rent baby equipment to travelers.  We were thrilled. While the traveling still wasn’t easy (You know what I'm talking about!), it was certainly better and less expensive.  How nice it was to arrive at our destination where the crib was set up, stroller was waiting, and our daughter had a bunch of new toys waiting for her. 

Now we hope our customers will return to LA, keeping us in mind for their travels, knowing that it doesn’t have to be quite so difficult or expensive to take a trip with their little family.

L.A. Baby Gear Rental strives not only to make it easy for the parents of little travelers but also aims to make it affordable.  Our rental prices are better than those of our national competitors on the same or similar products.  If you see a price better than ours, we will beat it. 

 We offer flexibility too that some of our competitors may not offer – without tacking on a litany of fees and surcharges.  All of our products are cleaned and/or sterilized before delivery.

We work with travelers to accommodate their travel schedule.  We offer a level of personalized service that a giant franchise may not deliver.  LA Baby Gear is a “mom and pop shop” (literally!) and we want to help other moms and pops enjoy their travels with their little ones.

LA Baby Gear Rentals promises to deliver parents of little travelers, baby gear in a courteous manner at affordable prices while accommodating (as best we can) the sometimes fluid travel schedules of our customers.
